Jendelakaba.com, SURABAYA – Kepemimpinan Khofifah-Emil di Jawa Timur berakhir. Keduanya, menurut Ketua DPD RI AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti masih menyisakan pekerjaan rumah yang belum juga tuntas, yaitu pengentasan kemiskinan.
Menurut LaNyalla, pejabat dan aparat pemerintah Provinsi Jatim harus berupaya keras untuk menurunkan angka kemiskinan itu. Seharusnya Jatim memiliki momentum dengan melalui pertumbuhan ekonomi Jatim yang meningkat signifikan dan tumbuh inklusif.
“Memang ada pertanyaan, mengapa pertumbuhan ekonomi di Jatim bagus, kondisi itu belum mampu secara krusial berdampak pada peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Inilah yang harus dijawab oleh pemerintah daerah. Terutama oleh semua kepala daerah di Jatim, dimana yang salah di sini,” tukas dia, Selasa (13/2/2024).
Berdasarkan data BPS, angka kemiskinan di kabupaten-kabupaten di Provinsi Jawa Timur berada pada kisaran angka paling tinggi 21 persen dan paling rendah 3 persen. Jika dirata-ratakan angka kemiskinan berada pada kisaran 9,7 persen.
Kabupaten-kabupaten yang angka kemiskinannya dua digit atau di atas 10
hingga 21 persen terdiri dari 17 Kabupaten, dengan angka kemiskinan tertinggi di kabupaten Sampang, dengan persentase 21 persen dan 4 kabupaten dengan angka
kemiskinan 10 persen di antaranya, Gresik, Nganjuk, Kediri dan Trenggalek.
Sedangkan angka kemiskinan terendah
adalah Kota Batu 3 persen, Kota Malang, Kota Surabaya dan Kota Madiun masing- masing 4 persen.
“Masalah kemiskinan adalah masalah nir-kesejahteraan yang artinya hajat hidup pokok masyarakat. Pemerintah daerah harus fokus menyelesaikan persoalan-persoalan ini,” kata LaNyalla.
Dikatakan LaNyalla, perekonomian yang semakin tumbuh seyogyanya semakin memberikan tetesan kesejahteraan, akan makin mengurangi pengangguran, serta berdampak penurunan kemiskinan.
Dari sisi pertumbuhan ekonomi, bila dibandingkan dengan provinsi lain di Jawa, ekonomi Jatim pada triwulan III 2023 tumbuh sebesar 1,79% dan menjadi yang tertinggi di antara provinsi lain di Pulau Jawa.
Jawa Timur juga menjadi penyumbang perekonomian terbesar kedua di Indonesia sebesar 14,6%. Serta penyumbang perekonomian terbesar kedua pula di Pulau Jawa dengan prosentase 25,56%.(*)
