Jendelakaba.com–Limapuluh Kota, Diskominfo– Bupati Limapuluh Kota Safaruddin Dt.Bandaro Rajo menggunakan hak pilihnya di tempat pemungutan suara (TPS) 08 Nagari Baruah Gunuang, Rabu, (14/02/2024). Meski diguyur hujan, Bupati Safaruddin bersama keluarga tampak kompak memakai baju putih melaksanakan pencoblosan pada pukul 09.00 WIB.
Mantan Ketua DPRD tersebut usai melakukan pencoblosan kepada Tim Humas Diskominfo mengatakan pelaksanaan pemungutan suara Pemilu Presiden, DPRD, DPR RI dan DPD di Limapuluh Kota sejauh pemantauan berjalan baik. “Walaupun hujan, masyarakat terlihat antusias datang ke TPS, artinya seluruh masyarakat Limapuluh Kota bersyukur ikut berpesta demokrasi, untuk memilih pemimpin-pemimpin ke depan,” katanya.
Diharapkan Bupati Safaruddin, pesta demokrasi serentak ini akan berjalan dengan baik, tidak ada hal-hal yang dikuatirkan terjadi di Limapuluh Kota sehingga betul-betul semua memilih sesuai dengan hati nurani. “Saya minta masyarakat Limapuluh Kota menggunakan hak suaranya di hari pemungutan suara hari ini, tidak boleh tidak memilih atau golput,” lanjut Bupati Safaruddin.
Bupati juga menghimbau para masyarakat untuk menghargai setiap pilihan individu. Ia mengatakan, jangan jadikan perbedaan menjadi pemicu perpecahan. Untuk itu, Bupati mewanti-wanti warga Limapuluh Kota untuk tetap menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan Negara Republik Indonesia melalui penyelenggaraan Pemilu yang ‘Badunsanak’. “Semoga pelaksanaan pemungutan suara di 1.261 TPS berjalan dengan lancar dan selamat Menikmati Pesta Demokrasi,” pungkasnya.
