Narasumber dalam webinar tersebut Bambang Kristiono, SE (Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPR RI), Rion Gustaf, Sos., M.I.Kom (Pegiat Literasi Digital), Dr. Ir. Firman Kurniawan, M.Si (Akademisi).
Narasumber pertama Bambang Kristiono menyebutkan kita akan sulit memahami konten yang baik dan konten yang buruk. Riset mencatat 4,5 miliyar pengguna internet yang meningkat 4,5 % dari tahun sebelumnya. Rata-rata pengguan internat menghabiskan waktu 8 jam menggunakan internet dalam sehari.
Ia juga menjelaskan perkembangan industry era 4.0 harus dimanfaatkan oleh semua lini kehidupan. Lahirnya uu no 27 tahun 2022 tentang perlindungan data pribadi. Di era digital sangat sudah membedakan ruang privasi dan publik. Disebabkan faktor personal, individual, dan faktor budaya.
Kita tahu UU ITE agar lebih memberikan perlindungan maksimal bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Peningkatkan literasi digital harus seiring dengan perkembangan penggunaan media digital. Jadilah masyarakat yang produktif bukan masyarakat yang konsumtif.
Rion Gustaf memaparkan bahwa teknologi memiliki dua sisi dampak bagi kehidupan manusia yaitu sisi manfaat dan mudarat. Dampak positifnya kita berkomunikasi tanpa terhalang jarak dan waktu, bisa berbelanja online dan lain sebagainya naun di sisi lain komentar komentar yang tidak baik bisa dengan mudah terlontarka begitu saja dan sibuk dengan dunia teknologi masing-masing serta banyak terjadi pembohong publik di dunia maya.
“Sikap yang bisa kita lakukan adalah meningkatkan empati, saling mengasihi dan berbagi kebaikan dalam setiap interaksi seperti kepada diri sendiri. Menghargai segala bentuk perbedaan karena kita hakikatnya kita semua tidak ada yang sama. Berpikir dan berpikir ulang sebelum posting. Membela orang lain seperti membela diri sendiri serta saring sebelum sharing,” ujarnya.
Firman Kurniawan menyampaikan hampir 60 persen waktu kita dalam satu hari kita habiskan untuk menggunakan smartphone, sementara itu proses sosial mengalami perpindahan secara maaif. Fakta fakta dalam dunia digital yg pertama terdapat ancaman bullying. Dari seluruh pengguna meria social ri Indonesia, 20 persen diantaranya merupakan korban atau pelaku bullying atau cyber bullying. Menurut UNICEF “Prilaku agresif bertujuan untuk menakut-nakuti, membuat marah, atau mempermalukan mereka yang menjadi sasaran”.
“Korelasi antara penggunaan media sosial dan cyber bullying telah dibahas di berbagai penelitian. Sebaai contoh Kowaiski et al (2014) berpendapat bahwa cyber bullying mungkin mengarah pada dampak yang lebih parah bagi korbannya, karena konten tersebut dapat disebarkan ke banyak orang, dalam satu waktu singkat dan dapat disimpan untuk waktu yang tidak terbatas,” pangkasnya. ***
