Jendelakaba.com–Lima Puluh Kota, Diskominfo— Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota menggelar Musyawarah Kerja Tahun 2023 di aula Dinas Kesehatan, Jum’at (29/12/2023). Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan guna mengevaluasi kerja selama tahun 2023, dan merumuskan rencana kerja tahun 2024.
Musyawarah Kerja PMI Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota dipimpin langsung oleh Ketua PMI Nevi Safaruddin, dan diikuti oleh Pengurus, Kepala Markas serta staf. Guna mempertajam rumusan kegiatan untuk tahun 2024, PMI Lima Puluh Kota juga mengundang narasumber dari PMI Provinsi Sumatera Barat, dalam hal ini dihadiri oleh Hidayatul Irwan.
Dalam sambutannya Nevi Safaruddin menyampaikan bahwa output dari Musyawarah Kerja ini disamping melakukan evaluasi kegiatan tahun 2023, juga diharapkan tersusunnya agenda kegiatan wajib selama tahun 2024 nanti yang dapat dirasakan langsung oleh masyarakat dalam meringankan beban mereka.
Selanjutnya Nevi Safaruddin menyampaikan, bahwa Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota adalah salah satu kabupaten yang rawan bencana di Sumatera Barat. Ini dapat kita lihat, dalam dua minggu terakhir, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota didera bencana alam berupa banjir, tanah longsor, serta jalan amblas yang menyebabkan terganggunya akses jalan dari Sumatera Barat ke Riau dan begitu juga sebaliknya. Mengingat kondisi alam Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota ini, maka peran PMI disini harus benar-benar bisa dirasakan untuk meringankan beban masyarakat yang terkena bencana. Kemudian dalam hal memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat akan darah, PMI harus dapat menjawab tantangan ini, bagaimana ketersediaan stok darah yang memadai bagi mereka yang membutuhkan, tutup Nevi.
Kemudian Dayat sapaan akrab Hidayatul Irwan selaku narasumber pada Musyawarah Kerja ini, menyampaikan beberapa hal yang dapat dijadikan program kerja pada tahun 2024, guna penguatan PMI Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota ke depan. Membangun pondasi organisasi merupakan hal pertama yang menjadi perhatian, bentuk kongkritnya yaitu dengan membentuk PMI di tingkat Kecamatan. Ini dilakukan guna menyikapi wilayah Lima Puluh Kota yang sangat luas, dengan membentuk PMI di tingkat Kecamatan, nantinya akan membantu dan merupakan perpanjangan tangan PMI Kabupaten dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Dayat melanjutkan, relawan menjadi perhatian berikutnya, karena perangkat organisasi dalam melakukan pelayanan adalah relawan, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan relawan tersebut perlu dilakukan rekrutmen terbuka bagi calon relawan. Setelah rekrutmen dilakukan, langkah berikutnya adalah membekali melalui pelatihan Korps Sukarela (KSR) dasar.
Terakhir Dayat menyampaikan yang menjadi prioritas adalah untuk Palang Merah Remaja (PMR). Untuk PMR ini perlu dilakukan pelatihan bagi guru yang menjadi pembina PMR, baik PMR tingkat Muda maupun PMR tingkat Madya.
